System of Record Notices (SORNs)
DoW Component SORNs
A complete listing of Department of War Systems of Records Notices (SORNs) can be found at the SORNs Index page.
Pursuant to Executive Order 14168, "" DoW replaces the term “gender” with “sex” throughout 132 of its SORNs. This change replaces a non-compliant term with a compliant term in the impacted notices, but it does not involve a change to the records maintained in the underlying systems of records. Therefore, it is not a “significant change” under section 6(b) of OMB Circular No. A-108, “” A list of impacted SORNs can be found .
