Privacy and Civil Liberties Directorate (PCLD)
 

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Privacy and Civil Liberties Programs.

Intelligence Oversight Directorate (IOD)

Conducts independent oversight of all Department of Defense intelligence, counterintelligence, and intelligence-related activities.

 Regulatory Directorate (RD)

Optimizes regulatory compliance throughout the Department of Defense.

Freedom of Information Act Directorate (FOIA)

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Freedom of Information Act Program.

           Administrative Office

Conducts PCLT leadership and Directorates mission support functions.

WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON NAVY YARD (September 1, 2023) -- Rear Adm. Thomas J. Anderson relieved Vice Adm. William J. Galinis as (acting) Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, during the retirement and Assumption of Command ceremony in Leutze Park at the Washington Navy Yard. During the ceremony, Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro spoke about Galinis’ accomplishments throughout his 40 years of service to the Navy and the critical role NAVSEA plays in our nation’s defense.
