Privacy and Civil Liberties Directorate (PCLD)
 

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Privacy and Civil Liberties Programs.

Intelligence Oversight Directorate (IOD)

Conducts independent oversight of all Department of Defense intelligence, counterintelligence, and intelligence-related activities.

 Regulatory Directorate (RD)

Optimizes regulatory compliance throughout the Department of Defense.

Freedom of Information Act Directorate (FOIA)

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Freedom of Information Act Program.

           Administrative Office

Conducts PCLT leadership and Directorates mission support functions.

NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO - Lt. j.g. Giovanni Guerrero embraces his family on the pier during a homecoming for the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) at Naval Base San Diego, Aug. 13, 2024. Somerset returned to San Diego with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit after a seven-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific region in support of regional stability and a free and open Indo-Pacific.
