Privacy and Civil Liberties Directorate (PCLD)
 

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Privacy and Civil Liberties Programs.

Intelligence Oversight Directorate (IOD)

Conducts independent oversight of all Department of Defense intelligence, counterintelligence, and intelligence-related activities.

 Regulatory Directorate (RD)

Optimizes regulatory compliance throughout the Department of Defense.

Freedom of Information Act Directorate (FOIA)

Provides policy guidance and oversees the administration, organization, and management of Department of Defense Freedom of Information Act Program.

           Administrative Office

Conducts PCLT leadership and Directorates mission support functions.

240513-N-BR246-1114 SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 13, 2024) An E-2D Hawkeye, assigned to the “Liberty Bells” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 115, launches off the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during a VAW-115 change of command ceremony, May 13, 2024. During the ceremony, U.S. Navy Cmdr. Charles Diehl assumed command from Cmdr. Glenn Smith. Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group Nine, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
